We recently had a customer who purchased a 2 post vehicle hoist online, the price of the hoist was very appealing as he had a particular budget in mind.
Upon installing the hoist, it became apparent to the customer that the hoist was of poor manufacturing quality and workmanship. The customer felt uncomfortable working underneath the hoist due to its unsafe locking system. His wife was also very concerned with her husband working underneath the hoist and she told him it’s too dangerous.
The customer approached us and asked us to remove and demolish his existing hoist and he ended up purchasing a new 2 post AutoLift hoist from us. After we installed the hoist, the customer expressed how much happier he is with the product and how much safer he feels working underneath the vehicle hoist.
Despite their appearances, not all hoists are manufactured equal. For example, if you look closely at the carriages that support the lifting arms, the arm locking mechanism should be incorporated within the carriages and not located externally. A cheaper alternative with external of the carriages can be unreliable and incorporates inferior style locking system and manufacturing processes.
